MedDiabetesApp application provides software for maintenance of Diabetes.
MedDiabetesApp application (Part of Med Series) provides software for disease maintenance specifically Diabetes. Application enhances control of Blood glucose, Nutrition (diet), Exercise, A1c, Insulin Bolus, Weight, and Prescription Medications. Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, and Cholesterol are also included. Other uses also possible.Application is used to analyze user supplied medical test results, food, drink, and exercise input data. Diet and exercise is then adjusted based on medications used. The process is then periodically repeated for best results. Functions include recording Medications, Ordering Medications, Medical Tests, Nutrition evaluation (including Exercise input), Insulin, and Summary of results for Medical Tests, Nutrition evaluation, and Exercise.Summary data include statistical averages and recent deviations from the averages. Individual person’s information is also provided and controlled by user.Medications function records and edits medications use and template for ordering medications when required.Ordering Medications prepares a list of medications that can be ordered as needed. Lists include medication name, medication value, daily quantity used, and total quantity ordered, based on number of days for the order. Medications lists for each order can be edited and saved for further use.Medical Tests function records each Blood Glucose, Person Weight, Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, and A1C measurements. Indication of abnormal values is provided. Measurements can be edited and saved for further use.Blood Glucose measurements can be recorded for individual days before and after each meal. A1C calculations are made for each day’s measurements and for all measurements recorded. Reference data for total measurements taken is then provided. Reference data can be edited and saved.Nutrition goals for each day is calculated based on person’s height, weight, gender, age, and exercise inputs. Nutrition goals include daily carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and total calories. Carbohydrates, proteins, and fats goals are listed as both calories and grams. Individual carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are entered as grams.Nutrition data is then be entered for each input. Nutrition data include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and calories for each nutrition input. List of common foods and associated nutrition data can be displayed. Default list is provided. An additional individual list can also be created. Nutrition data can be created, edited and saved for each list used.Individual Insulin prior meal and meal time bolus calculations are provided for those who use insulin.All results can be created and saved by entering a non-default (not Defaultxxx) Athlete Name. Files can be individually or totally deleted.Blood Glucose measurements are transferred from a meter or sensor using csv (comma separated values) generated file using Blood Glucose File or Meter menu. The csv file can be user generated (saved as txt file) or can be obtained from other files (such as an Excel file) and saved as a csv txt file.Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Weight, and A1c measurements is also transferred using csv generated files.Saved file is best generated using a separate computer and software, such as a laptop. File name should be File followed by type: Gluc, A1Cs, Blpr, Cols, Htrt, or Wgts. Person name can then be added.File size of the saved csv file is limited to three months of data. Quotation marks, header and trailer data should be removed to avoid file errors.File data is then saved as a txt file and downloaded or emailed and downloaded to the target device. Downloaded file is then copied to the App File directory.Text file is then selected from the Blood Glucose File menu and then parsed and saved.Email, print (with compatible device), or retrieval (with additional software) of results is also provided. Several additional software (such as Google Drive, etc.) are readily available.Updated Display code, enhanced code, and fixed bug.
